Wind Before the Rain by Trisha Budd

USD 10.00

Trisha wrote this evocative piece in response to a composition challenge, where guitarists were asked to write something based on a painting of raindrops on water. This work combines effects of wind chimes, thunderstorms, raindrops and more, resulting in a highly creative piece for guitar!

When rain comes before the wind, halyards, sheets and braces mind, But when wind comes before rain, soon you may make sail again" A Sailor's weather rhyme - based on fact - When rain comes first, a prolonged spell of wind and rain will follow as a warm front approaches, with the possibility of gales. But when the wind comes first it usually means that a cold front is coming, bringing just a brief spell of wind with showers or thundery rain.
