An Imperfect Pearl by Robin Teese
Robin composed this in May of 2023, during our studies of Bach's Cello Suite Prelude #1 on The Creative Classical Guitarist. J.S. Bach was one of the leading composers of the Baroque period. The word 'Baroque' means 'distorted pearl' and Robin played on that for his title. The work contains a repeating motive, which is artfully crafted through many changes of harmony and texture.
