'Water' by Rick Alexander

USD 7.00

Composer's note: "Water" uses a repeating rhythmic motif like regularly spaced ocean waves. This regular rhythm is combined with slowly changing harmonies and dynamics again conveying waves of sound.

"Water" should start delicately for the first 8 bars but with a definite lift of energy starting from the D minor 7 chord at bar 9. The slow crescendos and decrescendos throughout are important. At the start of the B section lift the energy again and peak at bar 37. The coda should be played delicately with a slow decrescendo after bar 53.
