Mourning After the Garden by Paul Horn

A beautiful composition, which uses a repeating bass motive with open triads.

It was inspired by two Bible scriptures:

“And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” --- Romans 8:23

“For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.” --- 2 Corinthians 5:4

Paul Horn is a classically trained guitarist, composer, and music arranger. Paul arranges Public Domain classical repertoire, Contemporary Praise, Worship Songs, Traditional Hymns, and Original Compositions. The primary goal of this is to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
